The Ontario Parks Kiosk is a touchscreen-based informational system designed for public spaces such as visitor centers. It presents rich, educational content about Ontario’s natural parks through an intuitive and visually engaging interface.
The goal was to create an easy-to-use kiosk experience for users of all ages, ensuring accessibility and clarity. A key challenge was designing a navigation system that works seamlessly on large touchscreens while presenting dense information in a clean and digestible format.
The project began with structuring content into clear sections such as history, visitor information, and wildlife. The interface was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while GSAP was used to implement smooth animations and transitions. Special attention was given to layout hierarchy and interactive feedback.
